Michelle is looking gorgeous in this tiered Louis Vuitton coral gown; she said that her daughter helps pick out her dresses: "This probably is one of her favorite colors." Right, Penelope Cruz looking radiant in a classic Giorgio Armani organza evening gown. She presented the 2012 Oscar for best original score with Owen Wilson. Other classic looks from the ceremony:

Left, Angelina Jolie looking glamorous and sexy in her Atelier Versace black velvet gown. She had the same pose on stage, sticking her bare leg out, while presenting the 2012 Oscars for best adapted screenplay and best original screenplay. Right, Gwyneth Paltrow stood out in all the embellished, embroidered, sexily cut and flowing gowns, looking pretty chic in this floor-length ivory cap sleeve column gown from designer Tom Ford's Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection. Gwyneth left out the classic double silk crepe cape when presenting the 2012 Oscar for Best Documentary with Robert Downey Junior.

The Help co-stars Jessica Chastain in a strapless black Alexander McQueen gown and Emma Stone in a high-necked Giambattista Valli Couture Spring 2012 gown. Jessica's silk organza gown has a very rich look with all that gold embroidery, and she paired it with Brian Atwood Alesha monster pumps. Emma Stone's look is more classic, but her performance on stage while presenting the 2012 Oscar for best visual effects with Ben Stiller, was so funny.

Natalie Portman wore a vintage polka dotted Christian Dior haute couture gown, a classic design back from spring 1954, complemented with statement jewelry and a Charlotte Olympia Perspex clutch. Natalie Portman presented the 2012 Oscar for the Best Actor in a leading role to Jean duJardin for The Artist.
