Global Action Awards fashion



Actress, singer, and writer Hilary Duff darkens her blonde hair for the 1st Annual Global Action Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on Friday, February 18, 2011. Wearing a stretch-silk Jumpsuit by Thomas Wylde, Hilary did presentation duties at the event, which acknowledged persons who have committed time, talents and resources to taking action in order to save lives, solve problems and empower future generations.



America Ferrera, looking smart in her Little Black Dress with a shoulder cutout and matching black peep-toe shoes, was honored for her work with 'Save The Children'. Right, Miley Cyrus was presented the Global Action Youth Leadership Award for her work with Blessings in a Backpack and her own organization 'Get Ur Good On'. After receiving the award from her idol Hilary Duff, Miley said: "I want [kids] to do something they love. Not something that seems like a chore because someone tells them that's the right thing to do or what their parents want or what's important to people around them but what's on their heart."

The singer attended the Global Action Awards in relation to her support for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and also performed her song Lifetime.
