Rihanna holiday treat

Beautiful R&B/Pop singer Rihanna, wearing a Fifi Chachnil bra, gorges on the British summer treat of strawberries and cream in the January 2011 issue of GQ UK. For the past couple of months Rihanna was in Britain filming her movie Battleship, performing on the X-Factor, launching her new album "Loud", doing photoshoots, and shopping for clothes. Her lack of clothes in the X-Factor performance drew criticism from some viewers but Rihanna says: "People think I'm overly sexy. It bothers them for some reason. Girls don't like to see other girls dressed sexy."



Rihanna treats herself to some holiday shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills. The self-proclaimed shopaholic told Seventeen magazine: "There's a rack of clothes in my head and I just line them up and have fun with it. For me, the thrill of fashion is taking a risk and daring myself to make it work." She has always talked of working on a line of clothes, and a recent meeting with TopShop owner Sir Phillip Green led to speculation of a fashion collaboration.

At that time the sexy singer was enjoying nice warm weather on her Christmas trip to her native Barbados. And she was alone. Because, the 22-year-old has broken up with Los Angeles Dodgers player Matt Kemp. A pretty gal like her can't stay single for long, but Rihanna gives priority to her career, as she told Interview magazine: "I have a lot of other stuff to accomplish before I get to kids. Whenever the time is right, I'll just know...It could be a year from now. It could be 10 years from now. Whenever is right."

Isla Fisher beautiful face

The cute, always smiling, and cherubic face of Isla Fisher has been included in the Annual Independent Critics List of the 100 Most Beautiful Famous Faces. Although it's an honor to be included in this exclusive list, Isla Fisher has fallen to 97th place from her previous year's ranking of 56. The list is only about facial beauty and not about sexy bodies, so the fact that Isla was pregnant and became a mother in September has little to do with this drop.



Isla Fisher in Paris, back in November with her newborn in a pram, while two-year-old Olive is being placed in the other pram by her nanny. Fisher and husband Sacha Baron Cohen seem to stay out of the news, because it wasn't lack of work that made Isla less popular with the beautiful face critics. She filmed Burke and Hare, a black comedy set in Scotland about two Irish migrants who killed people in order to sell their bodies for scientific research. "I was actually pregnant during the shooting and I had severe morning sickness and I didn't eat anything and I just vomited all the time," Isla Fisher told the BBC Breakfast Show. "Simon Pegg is the least observant actor in the planet because he didn't notice. I think he presumed I was just a typical Hollywood bulimic actress rather than the fact that I was severely sick."

Amy Smart Dead Awake

We only had a couple scenes together, but I really liked working with her."



Amy Smart's green passion landed her the cover of the July/August 2010 issue of Natural Health. Talking to the magazine about the organic garden in her LA home Smart says: "I feel so grounded and filled with love there. I love to wake up, go outside, fill the bird feeders, pick an orange and play with my dog, Oscar." Amy also supports the Environmental Media Association (EMA) School Gardens Program, which provides resources for organic vegetable gardens in LA urban schoolyards. "Gardens are so educational. They can help teach science, reading, math and nutrition. It's a tangible experience where kids can learn more healthful eating habits while reconnecting with where their food comes from."

Milla Jovovich developed her own fashion tastes working as a model since the age of 12. In the movie business Milla is best known as action star Alice in the Resident Evil franchise. Jovovich got back in shape after giving birth and did the fourth edition, Resident Evil Afterlife, which was released in September this year.

"Unfortunately, I don't think many moms have the option to buy many great designs unless they spend a lot of money, so I would love to give them that option."

Hilary Swank fashion reality

Two time Oscar winning actress Hilary Swank has a perfect set of teeth and a winning smile....but it wasn't always so. Swank told CosmoGirl: "I did wear braces for the longest time because I had the most crooked teeth you've ever seen! I don't smoke, and I've never had to bleach my teeth(at least not yet!).So I guess I'm lucky—and a good teeth-brusher!" In her new movie Conviction, Hilary Swank plays a woman who won't rest until she can overturn the wrongful murder conviction of her brother, Kenneth (played by Sam Rockwell). It's based on the real-life story of Betty Anne Waters and for her accurate portrayal, Hilary spent months mastering a Massachusetts accent, reading up on the real case, and gaining 20 pounds. There is plenty of Oscar buzz around this movie and Hilary's acting.

But there is also buzz around Hilary Swank hosting a fashion reality show on the CW television network! The NY mag's Vulture Blog reports: "While nobody at the network is speaking, industry insiders said the untitled series (currently known simply as the Untitled Hilary Swank Reality Project) will be a studio-based game show in which self-described fashion diehards will be tested on their knowledge of style and fashion, with one winning fashionista earning big prizes."

Why does a reputed actress need to do a fashion game show at all? Some of it has to do with the reality of Hilary Swank's hard life as a teenager, when she had no money and was raised by a single mother. The thought of losing it all and going back to her poverty-stricken days haunts her, as 36-year old Swank confessed to the New York Post: "I actually live with a fear that all this could go away and, who knows, maybe I might become poor again. I've had that fear a long time. I put money away. I check for good deals, and when you haven't steady work you're always looking for job opportunities. So have I still that nagging fear? Yes. I've had it a long time. There's a lot of fear in me that this could all go away and someday I'll be back to nothing."

But later as Swank developed her fashion sense, she told CosmoGirl: "My favorite designer is Marc Jacobs. He’s a huge talent, and I love that he does so much for charity. Being comfortable is the most important thing to me, and I find that classic clothes always make me feel most comfortable."
