This month Camilla Belle completed filming on the 2011 release From Prada to Nada based on Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility. At the Women in Film Cocktail Party early this month, Camilla told WWD: "It's nice to know that there's a more festive feeling, it's good for all of us because if people loosen up there's a more positive attitude toward work and the economy in general. With all the parties, there are lots of places to go, so you have to pick carefully or you'll end up driving all over town."

Amber Heard

Amber Heard is known for her striking looks, fashion sense, and professionalism.

Last noticed in the comedy Zombieland with Emma Stone (above), Amber Heard has been acting since 2004. The Texas girl left Catholic school, went to Hollywood, and got a small part in the film Friday Night Lights: "Within the first week of shooting I knew I was going to be an actress."

2010 may be the breakout year for Amber Heard. She will be seen in the thriller And Soon the Darkness with Odette Yustman (above), and then in The Rum Diary opposite Johnny Depp.

Contrasting her first starring role in the small budget (and unreleased) All the boys love Mandy Lane with her other sex-symbol parts, Amber Heard told Vanity Fair: "There's something I genuinely am proud of when I look at Mandy Lane. Certainly, as an artist, and as a person (and an intelligent one at times), I am done no justice by playing the trophy prom queen or supporting girlfriend."

Diane Kruger Catholic

Diane Kruger in Vogue Germany (April 2010) wearing a very short-waisted Pepita Blazer by Junya Watanabe, black blouse by Herr von Eden, and Henri J Sillam jewelry. Diane appears on the three separate covers for Vogue, styled by Karl Lagerfeld and representing different fashion eras.

Diane Kruger in Marie Claire UK (March 2010) looking sensuous in a bolero and blouse by Fendi, Hermes shorts and lace Jonathan Aston tights. The German girl told the magazine: "I just really hated school, and the Catholic bit was part of it. Just the suppression of everything and being so proper."

Diane also said that in Catholic school she got her first job......of being a professional griever at age eight. "It was the worst job anyone could think of. You would stand there, with people crying and weeping, and walk in front of the coffin. Once they were buried, the priest would come up to you and hand you five Deutschmarks."

Diane Kruger in a Spring/Summer campaign for Seducta, way back in 1998. Diane says that modeling was an important change in her life, till then regimented by Catholic school: "In the beginning it gave me a lot of confidence because truly that was the first time anyone had ever said to me, 'We like you for what you look like.' That may sound superficial but when you're a young girl it actually empowers you to a certain extent."

Diane Kruger looks pretty with her side ponytail at the Chanel & Charles Finch pre-Oscar dinner in Los Angeles on March 6, 2010. Diane's movie Inglorious Basterds, only the second time she's played a German on screen, was nominated for several categories. Kruger is currently in Babelsberg, Germany, shooting Unknown White Male in which she plays an illegal Serbian immigrant opposite Liam Neeson.

Joy Bryant beauty smarts

Actress and model Joy Bryant in Versace stretch silk-georgette colorblock tank and miniskirt. "I like wearing miniskirts that are as short as a belt," Bryant told InStyle. "I figure, you might as well wear them while you can, right?"

That was back in 2003; 5'9" tall Joy Bryant today is 33 and still maintains her figure of 34-23-34 with Yoga. "I love all the big designers, especially Versace and Dior. I like to mix high fashion with Old Navy, Club Monaco with Manolos, and Urban Outfitters with Dior," Bryant told WWD.

Left, Joy Bryant looking beautiful at the LA premiere of her movie Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, back in 2008. Right, Joy at the West Hollywood premiere screening of Parenthood, her new NBC show last month.

Joy Bryant's early life in the Bronx was all about acquiring smarts. "I was such a nerd," she says. "I read encyclopedias all day and watched TV. My grandmother, who raised me, (emphasized) the importance of education. For me it was about being self-sufficient and using my brain." Joy got scholarships to attend boarding school and join the Ivy League Yale. But there Bryant's beauty was discovered by a scout from the New York-based Next Models Management. Joy Bryant gave herself a year to try and make a career in modeling: "So just like that, I went from brains to beauty. The timing could not have been better: Seventeen magazine was booking their back to school issue and selected me. They seemed to dig my Ivy League credentials."

Zoe Saldana and Joy Bryant at the La Perla Presents Spring 2009 event on September 4, 2008. The two starred together in the 2004 movie Haven. Joy made her acting debut in MTV's 2001 special Carmen: A Hip-Hopera and has studied dance since she was 3. "When I was younger I was one of the few girls in the neighborhood who could break dance," she says. "That's kind of my local, ghetto-celebrity claim to fame. But I definitely didn't have any aspirations to be a rapper or anything. I wanted to be a deejay more than anything, but none of the guys would let me on the turntable, so that was short-lived."

In 2003, she co-starred with Jessica Alba in Bille Woodruff's romantic drama Honey. 2005 was another great year for Bryant, as she appeared in films including The Skeleton Key, London, and Fifty Cent's Get Rich or Die Tryin’.

Joy values her education, telling Complex magazine: "It always came in handy because, as a model, everybody assumes you're a complete idiot. It saved me when I went over to Paris and there were all these playboys lurking about. I was smart enough, old enough, with enough experience to avoid them. Thanks to Yale, I didn't wake up butt naked in a chateau wearing handcuffs, thinking, 'Why am I here?' - with a headache."

Dakota Fanning mature

Pretty Dakota Fanning turned 16 last month, but says that she wants to play more mature roles. "I'm going to get older," she told Teen Vogue. "And I want to act for the rest of my life——it's what I love——so I have to move forward with my career. The choices that I make might not always please everyone, but I have to do what I feel is appropriate and right for the time."

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning wearing '70s outfits while filming The Runaways, a biopic of the early days of rocker chicks Joan Jett and Cherie Currie. The film has some scenes involving drug use and lesbian kissing, but Fanning says "I really enjoyed doing that subject matter for the first time in a biopic, because it really happened--it's not just a made-up story about a 15-year-old kid running wild. It's a true story of her evolution from good Valley Girl to bad rock-and-roll princess."

Dakota and Kristen became friends while acting together in Twilight: New Moon. "Dakota is an astounding human being, incredibly intimidating, and one of the smartest people I've ever met," Stewart says. "She's become one of my best friends. We're so comfortable together that we have a second language."

Left, Dakota Fanning shopping at the Fashion Square Center in Sherman Oaks. Even her fashion sense is that of a mature young lady; she says, "I have a very classic style. I love proper outfits with vintage hats, necklaces, or boots." Right, active girl Dakota Fanning emerges from a Yoga class. The skinny actress is 5'3.5" tall but she's not fully mature yet and may grow taller.

Dakota Fanning wearing a beautiful leopard print Rodate for Target dress in Teen Vogue Magazine. On whether she feels the pressure to be a role model for girls, Fanning told V Magazine, "I think that when you're in the public eye, you automatically become a role model, because people are reading about you and looking at pictures of stuff you've done. So I definitely think you have to make good choices. But, you know, no one's perfect, everyone makes mistakes. I have made mistakes and I will make mistakes. I'm only human."

Organic Love from Emma

Emma Watson's eco fashion line from People Tree, made with 100% organic cotton, has debuted it's Spring/Summer collection. Photos were featured in last month's Coco Eco magazine. In this photo Watson is wearing a £14 crinkly scarf, hand woven from organic cotton and colored with tie-and-dye dip effect.

'Love from Emma' has clean easy lines and evokes summer in the South of France. Photos for the spring/summer collection were taken just before Emma left to start school at Brown University. All real photos taken with Emma and her friends in the English countryside.

In a statement the Harry Potter star said, "I went through my summer wardrobe and thought, ‘If I filtered this so that it was just the very basics, what would I want to keep?’ The answer was cotton vests, easy T-shirt dresses, nice scarves to accessorize with and some lovely linen pieces. For the boys’ range I’ve done hoodies, which I know they’ll love. The clothes are very British, which is why we shot them in an English country garden – it's all very strawberries and cream and tennis."

Above, Emma Watson wearing a £30 Loretto button dress. "I often worked late at night, fitting in meetings between filming Harry Potter 7. In between takes, I sketched and painted. Inspiration came from all sorts of places. Whether I was brainstorming with Tafari, my friend and appointed Menswear Advisor or rummaging through Sophie my flatmate's wardrobe, I couldn't have done it without the enthusiasm of the peers around me for my project," Watson wrote about designing the pretty outfits for People Tree. "Teenagers, who love fashion, but want to wear clothes that help the world's poorest people, not that make them poorer."
