The 21-year old actress says that her personality resembles that of her character Aria Montgomery on the show, which returns to ABC Family on January 3 with an episode titled 'Moments Later'. Lucy told Savvy magazine: "It's a fun show with great material. Even if I weren't on it, I would watch it and be addicted to it. The drama is exciting and so are the love stories, and we have such an amazing time with the clothes!"

Hale told the fashion website: "I love the classic [style icons] like Kate Moss and Sienna Miller, but I really admire girls my age, like Vanessa Hudgens and Miley Cyrus, for their everyday style."

In the November 2010 issue of Savvy magazine, Lucy talked of her favorite designers: "I like Mark Jacobs a lot. Alica and Olivia have cute dresses, and I love Steve Madden for shoes." But her favorite places to go shopping for clothes: "Urban Outfitters and Target too!" And her favorite color in clothes: "Turquoise fits my personality. It seems like a happy color for the most part, and I'm pretty happy-go-lucky!"

But she does have an ideal boyfriend in mind: "I'm a personality girl. It has to be someone who can make me laugh a lot because I get bored easily! He has to be a gentleman too — open the doors and bring me flowers — I love that! And someone with the same moral values too....I tend to like guys who were raised the same way as I was."
