Entertaining Emma Stone

Redhead Emma Stone will return to her natural blonde roots for her role as superhero love interest Gwen Stacy, in the upcoming movie from the Spider-Man franchise.

In the October 2010 issue of InStyle magazine, Emma Stone says she loves wearing menswear-inspired clothes, and does her own thing in fashion: "I don't really follow what everyone else is doing. I choose to dress like my personality."

After comedies like Superbad, The Rocker, and Zombieland, Emma Stone gets the lead role in the entertaining Easy A, which is a box office hit. She plays high school student Olive Penderghast who lets a rumor spread about losing her virginity, and then pretends to sleep with other male students in exchange for gifts. The conservative students in school, led by Marianne (Amanda Bynes), try to get her expelled. "It was interesting to see how the ideas in the movie were translated internationally, because it's pretty shocking to hear that in France it wouldn't matter that a girl is having sex at 17. It's a new perspective of high school life through the eyes of a girl that decides to perpetuate a rumor instead of denying it," Emma told Nylon magazine.

Emma says that she bought a classic Cadillac from the set of her upcoming movie The Help: "I had to take a lesson to learn how to drive it." Stone has a small role in Friends with Benefits, starring Mila Kunis. Emma will also host Saturday Night Live (SNL) on October 23: "I love everything that has to do with SNL: The history of it, the fact that it's in New York City, and that it's iconic and symbolizes where my dream began."



Taylor Swift named Emma Stone as one of her close friends in Seventeen magazine last year, along with Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato. Taylor told Nylon magazine: "I would trust her with any secret, because not only would she keep it....she'd find some way to make me laugh about it."
