Amanda Seyfried versatile

Amanda Seyfried's romantic type and teen comedy roles, have made her popular but she has always been trying for versatility in her movie career. After graduating from William Allen High School in 2003 Amanda got a role in the popular teen film Mean Girls, and then the little known crime drama Alpha Dog. Her first lead role was in the musical comedy Mamma Mia, last year she played a prostitute in Chloe, and starred with Megan Fox in Jennifer's Body. Seyfried is currently shooting Red Riding Hood, a thriller set in a medieval village that is haunted by a werewolf.



Amanda Seyfried exits a gym wearing summer workout clothing. Her most recent movie, Letters to Juliet, is going great guns with its DVD release becoming the second best-selling disc and the third most rented film last month. Seyfried has also signed on to another versatile role in an untitled sci-fi thriller, which is about a society where no one ages beyond the age of 25, except for those who have enough money to buy time. 25-year-old Amanda Seyfried plays the daughter of 32-year old Vincent Kartheiser, while 26-year-old Olivia Wilde will play the mother of 29-year-old Justin Timberlake!

Talking about turning 25, Amanda Seyfried was among a bunch of 20-something celebrities featured in the 25th anniversary issue of Elle magazine (October 2010). The pretty actress, who turns 25 on December 3, told the fashion magazine the best and worst things about turning 25: "The best thing is, I'm happy. The worst is that I'm scared; the scariest thing is that I know it can't be easy—the years to come."
