Julia Saner from Switzerland

Pretty Julia Saner is moving up the ranks to top model status in her native Switzerland after winning the Elite Model Look World Finals 2009.

From the city of Berne, Julia Saner was discovered by Ursula Knecht of the Option Model Agency in Zürich. When she won the international title Julia was still in school, and despite her success and intense media scrutiny, has every interest in completing her education. "In one year I will finish my high school diploma. Until then I will step slowly in the modeling industry - and then I will just take off!" Last November Julia walked on the runway at the 10th Swiss Textiles Award wearing Rodarte, Erdem and Alexander Wang, the last of whom won the Stella Contemporary Fashion Award 2009.



Pretty brunette Julia Saner, with her grey-green eyes, is nearly six feet tall (181 cm). And being born in the land of cheese and chocolate did not turn her into a Swiss milkmaid.......Julia Saner's body measurements are bust 81(32), waist 60(23.5), and hips 91(35.8). The naturally slim model admits that skinny girls are favored by designers because clothes fall better on thin frames. Julia Saner says she lost seven kilos to get ready for the Elite Model Look contest in Switzerland, but insists she is not anorexic. Her manager Ursula Knecht adds, "My girls are absolutely healthy! They do not eat junk food, just lots of vegetables."



Julia says she is into exercising and does running and biking for her aerobics. "It is important to train for about 30 minutes. Only then, the body can burn fat." Saner also does Pilates and is into jazz dancing, which she claims is good for her posture. Julia Saner is thinking of moving to New York for her modeling career, but will keep using Skype and Facebook to keep in touch with family and friends. She does not have a boyfriend and avoids alcohol: "I drink from time to time a glass of fine wine with a meal. A woman's drink, like a 'Eve Litchi' or 'Engel beer', is also okay."
