Elizabeth Banks conservative

Zack and Miri Make a Porno star Elizabeth Banks plays a conservative CNBC analyst on the new season of TV's 30 Rock.

The first episodes will air in February. Elizabeth told Entertainment Weekly that she lobbied to get the part in the popular show: "I definitely put feelers out, like, I would love to be on your show," she said. "And they did it. I'm a huge fan, so this is a dream come true."

Elizabeth loves wearing bright colors; on the left she is at the 2010 Golden Globes Warner Bros. and InStyle after party, dressed in a pink chiffon Spring 2010 Dior dress. On the right Banks is pretty in red at the Breeders' Cup World Championship thoroughbred horse racing at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California, last November.

For beauty treatments like body hair removal Elizabeth prefers conservative shaving: "Waxing makes no sense to me, because you have to grow it out to wax it. My [bikini area] is all shaved, and she looks good. I use a nice exfoliator, like Dermalogica."

Elizabeth Banks in Canadian Toro magazine. The magazine asked her, "Is it tough to be smart and blonde in Hollywood?"

Banks replied, "No. But for a long time I wasn't taken seriously as a doctor or a lawyer. I couldn't be on ER because I was too blonde and cute. Apparently, good-looking blonde girls don't go to law school."
