Amy Acker told Maxim (above photo): "I've always believed in the supernatural. I haven't had any encounters or any personal experience with that kind of stuff. I mean, I've never seen a ghost or anything, but I sure would like to. I think meeting a ghost would be very cool."

The Texas girl was a natural model, with her slim figure and height of 5'8". Amy appeared in the the J. Crew clothing catalog, and did modeling stints in Japan. But Acker started out as an actress, on the award-winning children's TV series Wishbone. Armed with an acting major from the Southern Methodist University Amy Acker worked as a stage actress before starting her career on TV.

Acker is a very active girl into skiing and rock climbing. 32 year old Amy is married to actor James Carpinello and has two children with him.



Lately Amy Acker can be seen on Dollhouse with Eliza Dushku, a series about mind-control and sexually dark stuff. Speculation abounds that there will be a lesbian storyline in the new season of Dollhouse, and people think it will be between Echo (Eliza Dushku) and Whiskey (Amy Acker).

Blake Lively was the best dressed girl at the 61st Emmy Awards on Sunday night. Blake wore a red Versace halter gown with a plunging neck, with nude Louboutins, and jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz.



The Gossip Girl star really dresses well for the red carpet. Above Lively is the cynosure of all the photogs' cameras at the "The Model As Muse: Embodying Fashion" Costume Institute Gala this May. Blake is wearing a one-shouldered teal chiffon Versace dress with a split front. Also eye-catching is the beautiful way she did her hair and makeup.

I don't want to go to a club and not wear panties."

In school Blake was a cheerleader and enjoyed playing sports, "I am so energetic. I always have to be going, going and making things fun. Plus, I enjoy playing sports. I love soccer. It's my favorite sport to play." Blake Lively is 5'10" tall and has a curvy figure, she loves to cook and eat all kinds of food. "My family's originally from Georgia; I love fried food, cheese, sugar, salt, butter," Blake told Teen Vogue.

Actress Camilla Belle is compared to Brooke Shields and Elizabeth Taylor for her prominent brows.



The almost 23-year old star of movies like, When a Stranger Calls and 10,000 BC, said in an interview, "Elizabeth Taylor has been a favorite since I was 2. I love old classic films." Camilla Belle channels the classic Hollywood look and the beautiful Taylor in her prime for the October 2009 issue of Marie Claire above.

The beautiful brows highlight Camilla's striking eyes: "I look like my mom. All the females in my family have these eyes." The actress told Beauty Biz that her makeup regimen consists mainly of a touch of Dior mascara and MAC eyeliner.



Belle was named after a Brazilian soap-opera character, and her own mother Cristina is Brazilian. Her actual surname is Routh and she was born (October 2, 1986) and raised in LA. Camilla can speak her mother's native language, Portuguese, and recently acted in the Brazilian movie À Deriva.

As a child Belle had a brief role in The Lost World and played the young Sandra Bullock in Practical Magic. Then at age 13 she took a break from acting, "I stayed in school, did plays, danced, sang choir, made friends, and then I started to really, really miss it." Camilla returned at 16 to play Daniel Day-Lewis' daughter in The Ballad of Jack and Rose. Her breakout role was in the 2006 thriller When a Stranger Calls. Camilla is currently filming a new comedy called Father of Invention with Heather Graham and Kevin Spacey.

Glittering girls at the 2009 VMAs

The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards may be remembered for Lady Gaga's outrageous outfits, and for Kanye West's outrageous behavior, but on the red carpet the girls were all glittering. Taylor Swift was the princess of the show, arriving in a horse and carriage, and dressed in a glittering asymmetrical gown by Caufman Franco Resort. "I have a castle complex," Swift told MTV. "I really like fairy tales."



After the Taylor Swift versus Kanye West fiasco on stage, the 19-year old singer changed into a red dress, and was called back on stage to complete her acceptance speech by Beyonce, who was also in red. Beyonce looked amazing in a Roberto Cavalli dress complemented with Cescare Paciotti pumps.



The sexiest girl of the evening was Katy Perry, showing off plenty of leg and cleavage in a skin-tight metallic dress, with matching Louboutins.

Singers Pink and Shakira wore the same Balmain studded leather dress.

Seventh Moon is a horror flick set in China and directed by Eduardo Sánchez of The Blair Witch Project fame, and Crank 2: High Voltage with Jason Statham repeats the non-stop action and raw passion of the previous film. "Well, my character has become even more sexually liberated," says Amy of her role in Crank 2: High Voltage. "So she decides to give pole dancing a shot."

Emma Stone got to play with big guns, but without any risk of hurting herself.

In her new movie Zombieland Emma says, "I had to go to a gun range. We got to pick the weapon from there. I was originally supposed to have a genuine, old-school shotgun. Then I tried a handgun, a shotgun and a rifle, but when I got this pump shotgun in my hand, I was like, This is it. This is it! It was pretty cool."

Alexis Bledel finally graduates from her days as a schoolgirl and college student on Gilmore Girls.



Alexis Bledel will turn 28 on September 16, but she still looks like a teenage girl, like in this Frank White photo above. Alexis stars in the new movie Post Grad as Ryden Malby, a graduate just out of college who can't get a job, and has to move back in with her family. Bledel has tried sexing up her image previously; she played a prostitute in the edgy Sin City.

The movie Post Grad is a comedy/chick flick with a strong bearing on today's times. "We had no idea it was going to be so topical because we shot the film before the economic crisis and recession....I hope people can relate to it and are entertained by it and can enjoy the comedy of it." The movie is also good to see all the great outfits that Alexis gets to wear, like the beautiful cropped plaid blazer above!
