The TV and film actress posed for Mark Leibowitz but did not do any nude photos. Jennifer Morrison also posed in leather for Stuff Magazine (below). Among her movie credits are Urban Legends: Final Cut, Surviving Christmas, and Big Stan. Morrison will play the role of Winona Kirk, Captain Kirk's mother in the upcoming Star Trek movie.



On TV Jennifer is well-known for her portrayal of Dr. Allison Cameron on House MD. Jennifer Morrison was born 12 April 1979 in Chicago; her grandmother suffered from asthma and as a child Jennifer wanted to be a doctor so she could take care of her. But her desire to be an actress was stronger leading her to take dancing and singing classes. Jennifer was also a model doing ads for Kohl's, JCPenney, Montgomery Ward. She told Playboy, "The big scandal was when I was in seventh grade and I modeled a bathing suit. Everybody freaked out!"

While acting in TV shows and movies Morrison also completed her education, with a Theatre major from Loyola University. The 5'5" Jennifer was a cheerleader in high school and developed an athletic body: "I played soccer for a couple of years in high school. Once I moved to Los Angeles and was in the warm weather all the time I learned how to play tennis, wakeboard, snowboard, surf and ride dirt bikes. I also go hiking in LA." She also takes Yoga classes now.


As for food Jennifer told the LA Times, "I love eating out and I'm a huge sucker for Italian food. My favorite thing to order (at Giovanni Ristorante) is the chicken piccata, and the homemade desserts, like tiramisu and creme brulee, are phenomenal."
Jennifer Morrison likes clothes by Italian designer Giambattista Valli among others, "You feel like a princess in his stuff, it's unbelievable."

Like her House co-star Olivia Wilde, Morrison is a natural blonde who turned brunette, for the movie Surviving Christmas and stayed that color when she started on House. She reverted to her natural color for the TV movie The Murder of Princess Diana, where Jennifer played an American journalist. On returning to House she persuaded the writers to make her character a blonde: "I'm a natural blonde but what I have now is actually a shade lighter than my original color. It's fun. I look like myself again. I spent 24 years with blonde hair but I'm known for being a brunette."



Jennifer dated her House co-star Jesse Spencer and the two had decided to get married in 2007, when they abruptly announced they were calling off their engagement. While her House co-star Olivia Wilde is known for kissing girls onscreen, Jennifer Morrison got harassed once by a female fan. She told Stuff Magazine, "It’s funny—the most violated I have ever been was by a woman. We were in this bar, and it was packed. I was just standing there, and all of the sudden, this woman grabs my boob. These guys I was with saw what happened and pulled her off, and she just ran out."

Emmanuelle Vaugier

Emmanuelle Vaugier likes using handcuffs....

...in her role as Detective Jennifer Angell in the hit TV show CSI:NY. Emmanuelle is from Canada but her parents are French; in her surname Vaugier, 'g' is pronounced as 'z'. "Before I went to school, French was the first language in my household because my parents had just moved there from France," she says. "I spoke French and English, but as soon I got into school, it was English only."

Apart from French and English Emmanuelle also speaks a little Japanese; from her days working in that country as a model. Her ethnic background gives her many pluses in finding movie roles, "I can make myself look exotic depending on what I wear and my makeup, or I can just be some white guy’s daughter who has dark hair but has no ethnic or exotic background. I can put on an accent if I need to but at the same time I don't get categorized as a foreign girl."



The former model loves designer wear, "I absolutely love Dolce & Gabbana. For some reason, it fits like a glove. I wish I could afford more of it! And I have to keep myself away from the Coach store. Why I need a new purse every month is beyond me." Other designers that Emmanuelle likes are Leona Edmiston, Kate Spade, and Marc Jacobs.

Emmanuelle Vaugier has also posed for men's magazines, Maxim, FHM, Stuff, wearing skimpy bikinis and less. She told Stuff Magazine that she knew the name "Emmanuelle" was famous in the '80s and '90s for a series of soft-porn movies: "I’d like to believe that perhaps she was named after me, but she happened far before I did. I should rent them and study. I can maybe learn a thing or two."

Emmanuelle Vaugier started her career as a model at age 16 in Canada and was also sent for assignments to Japan. Vaugier says, "I was used to doing lingerie catalogs, and when I say lingerie catalogs in Japan I mean like department store stuff, not racy stuff." Emmanuelle never completed college and all her education was from a girls-only private school: "My family was Catholic, but the school was Anglican (McGee High School). I wore a navy blue sweater and a plaid, pleated skirt."

Emmanuelle Vaugier played the role of Nikki in the video game NFS Carbon; she also had a role in a movie based on a video game: Far Cry. For her physical fitness the 5'7" Emmanuelle Vaugier says, "I love to go hiking. I hike every day for about 11/2 to 2 hours in the hills around LA. I go to the gym every day too. Lately, I have done a lot of Spinning and weight lifting. I’ve been working on my upper body, my shoulders mainly. Here in LA I train with my new trainer, Matt. And in Vancouver, I work with my other trainer, Anna. They are great. I try also to do some cardio activities."

She says that Don Francesco's in Vancouver is her favorite restaurant, specifically for its wild boar. "I'm a big game meat person, and it's done beautifully - tender and flavourful." Apart from wild boar meat, Vaugier also loves chocolate, cupcakes, and is a cheese fanatic.

While she has homes in LA and Vancouver, Emmanuelle likes to travel and loves countries like Japan where she worked as a model. As a schoolgirl Vaugier did high school projects on Egypt and developed a keen interest in the lives of the Pharaohs. "I find the country’s history incredibly fascinating and I'd definitely love to experience Arabic culture."

She also likes Australia. "I love Australia, but most of the things that can kill you live in Australia. The spiders and the snakes—all these things just live there! My friends and I have been going for years."



Emmanuelle Vaugier eats some animals, but there are other animals that she loves, like dogs. She has two miniature poodles Lily and Isabelle (above). "Lily is more of the supermodel poodle; she has the long legs and the skinny body and no matter how much I feed her she won’t gain a pound. Isabelle is a little lower to the ground and she’s stocky. She’s like the gymnast."

Emmanuelle was known for her TV roles in Smallville, One Tree Hill, and the Charlie Sheen comedy Two and a Half Men. Funnily enough Vaugier had previously acted as a call girl in the telemovie about convicted Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss, among whose clients was Charlie Sheen! Emmanuelle says, "He came up to me after rehearsal one day and says, Sooo.....you did the Heidi Fleiss Story? He started laughing, he didn't care, but it was a funny little six degrees of separation."

Emmanuelle Vaugier is dating actor Josh Cooke; the two starred together in Bachelor Party 2: The Last Temptation.

While she does diverse roles in TV, on film Emmanuelle Vaugier continues with her trademark horror/thriller genres. Emmanuelle is famous for her role as Addison in Saw II and Saw IV; despite acting in horror films she told UMM Magazine, "It's funny because I have a hard time watching horror movies because they scare me and then I can't sleep." In 2009 Vaugier will be seen alongside Christian Slater in the horror-specialist Stephen King authored Dolan's Cadillac. In Hysteria Vaugier is part of a high-school reunion party gone wrong. Despite her horror-girl label Emmanuelle says that her dream role would be to play Wonder Woman.

Zuleyka Rivera makes the transition from beauty queen to actress.

The former Miss Puerto Rico, Zuleyka Rivera won the Miss Universe crown in 2007. Zuleyka means "lovely" in Arabic and she likes Indian food. The brown haired and brown eyed girl was the first Miss Universe winner from Puerto Rico to have a distinctly mixed race heritage.



Last year Zuleyka Rivera was taking acting classes in Mexico. She starred in Telemundo's soap opera Dame Chocolate and is currently in another Mexican soap opera. Zuleyka had to improvise on her Puerto Rican accent to be accepted as a Mexican actress; her family still lives in Salinas, Puerto Rico. Rivera is currently dating Jaime Augusto Mayo.

Zuleyka Rivera is a spokeswoman for Swarovski and Mexicana Airlines. She says she loves wearing long flowing dresses and owns many satin gowns.



Zuleyka Rivera is 5'9", at the press conference after becoming Miss Universe she fainted, which led to speculation that she was starving herself. But it was due to exhaustion from wearing a heavy dress and lack of fluids. Zuleyka says she does not have big meals, and spreads her calorie intake to six small meals a day. She loves chocolates, fruits, nuts, and protein shakes.

For her workout Zuleyka combines cardio with strength training. "I try to do 40 minutes of cardio at least daily and, if I have time, do a weight routine." Rivera alternates her routine with jogging, spinning, and dancing. "I try to meditate and evaluate the things that I can improve; I call this my particular brand of Yoga."

Lauren Conrad

Actress Lauren Conrad has quit MTV show The Hills after five successful series to lead a more private life.

Lauren Conrad, who appeared on the cover of the April issue of Seventeen magazine, said: "My biggest thing with the show was that I wanted to walk away from it while it's still a great thing. I always want to remember it that way. I gave MTV a deadline and said, This is as long as I can do it and stay sane."

Conrad talked briefly about her longevity on The Hills and how the only piece of her life that isn't shown on the popular show is her work as a fashion designer. In fact there was no wardrobe budget on the show and Lauren had to pay out of her own pocket for everything. Following in the footsteps of her idols Diane von Furstenberg and Cynthia Vincent, women who have their own fashion businesses, Conrad launched her "Lauren Conrad collection" in 2007.

"Fashion is something I've always wanted to do, ever since the sixth grade," says Lauren Conrad, who was also an intern at Teen Vogue. Slinky jersey dresses, high-waisted shorts, and flowy tops with funky prints and light pastels dominate her clothes line; and there are dresses named after her "Hills" co-stars, like "the Audrina" and "the Whitney". As a young girl, Lauren Conrad says, "I used to wear only tanks and jeans but now I love dressing more girlie and wearing more dresses. I like comfortable, beachy clothes that can also be dressed up, too."

Jayne Wisener

In Tim Burton's dark gothic 2007 movie Sweeney Todd, actress Jayne Wisener was wearing makeup that made her pale and colorless. Her clothes were also pale and understated to contrast with the images of corpses, body parts, blood, and rats in the movie. At the premiere of Sweeney Todd in the US, Jayne Wisener was suitably attired in designer wear:



Jayne Wisener's home is Coleraine in Northern Ireland; but she presently lives in London and works in British television (the TV series Minder) and also does musical theater. "I probably started singing before acting, but for some reason I feel much more comfortable acting," she says. The unknown 19-year old Irish drama student was chosen for the role of Johnny Depp's 15-year old daughter in Sweeney Todd. Wisener had never been to a movie set in her life.

Jayne Wisener has since found herself a boyfriend, Wayne Austin a project manager at Barclay’s. "Wayne's gorgeous — well I think he is. He's also very stable, he has a proper job whereas I'm all over the place. I can't plan a week ahead, let alone a month."

Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen has married New England Patriots football player Tom Brady. Paparazzi photos of the couple, and Tom's 18-month old son Jack, entering St. Monica's church for the secret night wedding, on Thursday 27 February.

The paparazzi photos were sold "exclusively" to Us Magazine, which published them in their March 3 issue, but they were also sold to Latin American publications and spread around the web.

Yvonne Strahovski

The scrumptious Yvonne Strahovski is another Australian import in US TV-land.

Yvonne, a trained stage actress, came to the US in 2007 during the "pilot season" to try her luck getting film or TV roles. Just one audition for the action-comedy/spy-parody TV series Chuck got Strahovski her role. "I bought a return ticket because I thought I'd only be gone for two months for pilot season," Strahovski laughs. "Who knew I was going to get a job in two days?"

The show's creator, Josh Schwartz, told me the holding the gun thing was one of the factors.....I guess it also ties into the male fantasy of it as well

Despite her success and critical appreciation as an actress with Chuck, Yvonne Strahovski did not have much of a career back home in Australia. She is in fact better known in the US than her native country. Born Yvonne Strzechowski (30 July 1982) in the Maroubra suburb of Sydney, the hot blonde is actually Polish, and is the only member of her family born in Australia.

Yvonne got bit parts in Australian TV shows, including Headland which also starred the other Aussie import Rachael Taylor, and she was in three movies Gone, The Canyon, and The Plex. Yvonne also had a relationship with her Plex co-star Matt Doran, but they split when she moved to the US. Yvonne also changed her surname from Strzechowski to Strahovski to make it easier to pronounce and remember.



"I'm just learning how to walk in high heels," Yvonne told Men's Health (above pic). "I was never a girly girl. I never wore makeup. I never liked fashion. I never bought magazines. Now I have to know all that stuff." And depending on how many inches she likes in her high heels, Yvonne Strahovski would stand out in a crowd since she is 5'9.5" tall.

When she went back to Australia as a star, Yvonne could see how quickly her life had changed: "It was very weird walking into my bedroom at my parents' house the other day. It's still the same. It was like me a year ago. I think I threw everything out of my wardrobe because my clothes were so out of date." On Chuck, the male fantasy element is catered to by dressing up Strahovski's character. Like in one episode she is wearing a Star Wars slave girl outfit:



Yvonne Strahovski is also lean and muscled, not from working out, but by playing sports, going camping, and doing rock climbing. Growing up Yvonne was a beautiful tomboy, "I grew up hiking. I did all the boy things. I was always very sporty. I always wanted my girlfriend to play sport with me at lunchtime at school and no-one ever wanted to, so I always hung out with the boys."

And she enjoys the fight scenes in Chuck because: "I grew up as a dancer and for me a fight scene is like learning a dance, but in order to make it look more real and powerful, I get gongfu training." Her upcoming movie The Canyon, in which Yvonne Strahovski has a lead role, also promises plenty of action and thrills.
