The wholesome Amy Acker...

...has played many unwholesome characters on TV like the villainous Kelly Peyton in Alias and the demon Illyria in Angel.



Amy Acker told Maxim (above photo): "I've always believed in the supernatural. I haven't had any encounters or any personal experience with that kind of stuff. I mean, I've never seen a ghost or anything, but I sure would like to. I think meeting a ghost would be very cool."

The Texas girl was a natural model, with her slim figure and height of 5'8". Amy appeared in the the J. Crew clothing catalog, and did modeling stints in Japan. But Acker started out as an actress, on the award-winning children's TV series Wishbone. Armed with an acting major from the Southern Methodist University Amy Acker worked as a stage actress before starting her career on TV.

In school Amy was training to be a dancer. She told FHM magazine: "I danced for 14 years. As a kid I always wanted to be a ballerina but then I had knee surgery so I took acting classes instead."

Acker is a very active girl into skiing and rock climbing. 32 year old Amy is married to actor James Carpinello and has two children with him.



Lately Amy Acker can be seen on Dollhouse with Eliza Dushku, a series about mind-control and sexually dark stuff. Speculation abounds that there will be a lesbian storyline in the new season of Dollhouse, and people think it will be between Echo (Eliza Dushku) and Whiskey (Amy Acker).
