
Rebecca Romijn, 36, and husband Jerry O'Connell, 34 became first-time parents to twin girls on December 28. Rebecca, popular for playing a transgendered character on Ugly Betty, was previously married to actor John Stamos. Romijn is of Dutch heritage but was born and raised in Berkley, California. She became popular in the gay and lesbian community for portraying a lesbian character in the 2002 movie Femme Fatale.
Rebecca Romijn was also a fashion model, wearing swimsuits for Sports Illustrated and lingerie for Victoria's Secret. Rebecca wore no clothes, and was painted blue, for her role of Mystique in X-Men. Romijn has talked of the "lesbian scene" in modeling: "I kept hearing stories about girls making out on airplanes and checking into hotels and running into the ladies' room. A couple of times I was hit on, and I didn't get it."
Rebecca has said that she had experimented a little with her sexuality in her early twenties.
